DeNet has two distinct paths — a mobile Watcher app that earns points, and a license-gated storage node. The token is pre-mainnet, so here's how each one actually works rather than a fabricated per-GB estimate.
DeNet is pre-mainnet — no reliable USD-per-GB estimate.
The token (DE) is a thinly-traded test token; the main token is migrating to peaq with no confirmed TGE. There is no published per-GB reward rate, so we explain the two real ways to participate instead of showing a fabricated dollar figure.
Watcher Node (mobile app)
The accessible path. Verify file parts in the app and earn $WN points (pre-token eligibility for the DeNet token + Datakeeper airdrop on peaq). Gamified: batteries, ~6h cooldowns, daily launch targets, referrals, and stage levels. Points, not dollars — no USD value yet.
Datakeeper Node (storage)
The real share-your-disk node. Requires a paid Datakeeper license. Income is "tokenomics share + payment for stored data", validated by a Proof-of-Storage challenge with replication across keepers. No published per-GB rate to quantify.
Storage is priced in TBY (1 TB/year utility token); DE is the governance token. Verified 2026-05-21.
