How DePINly presents DeNet. Last verified 2026-05-22.
TL;DR
DeNet is distributed storage. After the 2026-05-21 audit, the per-GB USD calculator was retired: DeNet has two distinct products, a dual-token system, and a pre-mainnet test token — there is no published per-GB rate, and the old location-tier multiplier was fabricated. The page now shows a two-roles explainer.
How earning actually works
- Watcher app — a mobile app that earns points ($WN) for lightweight participation.
- Datakeeper — a license-gated storage node (host encrypted user data).
- Token is pre-mainnet (test token), so no reliable USD/GB exists yet.
Why no USD figure
No published per-GB DENET rate + pre-mainnet dual-token system → any USD output would be invented. We explain the two roles instead.
Assumptions & confidence
| Item | Basis | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Two products (Watcher / Datakeeper), dual-token, pre-mainnet | DeNet docs, audit 2026-05-21 | 🟢 |
| Per-GB USD rate | not published → not modeled | n/a |
Confidence rating
🟡 — Roles and status are sourced; deliberately no USD calculator (pre-mainnet, no published rate). The legacy per-GB lib is kept only as a deprecated audit record.

These figures are point estimates inside a wide band and depend on local demand, hardware, uptime and token price. They may be wrong in either direction. Nothing here is financial advice — always do your own research.
