Reward Multiplier

A protocol-defined factor that scales the base reward for a hardware node based on attributes such as uptime, location, antenna quality, or stake.

Reward multipliers create economic incentives for operators to deploy hardware in under-served areas, maintain high uptime, and stake tokens as a commitment signal. For example, Helium's transmit scale reduces rewards in over-saturated hex cells, steering operators toward regions with genuine coverage gaps.
